Verification of source of funds (minimum of $200,000 in liquid asset)
B. TEI will evaluate and inform you the result of your initial application within 3-5 business days
C. We will send you two copies of FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document)
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires any franchisor present this disclosure document to you for your review for a minimum of 10 business days. The FDD contains our history, policies, financial statements, the agreement between our franchisees and us, and various standards and procedures you will be required to follow. The information you received will help you to better understand Tapioca Express’s franchise operations.
Step 2:
A. Inform TEI of your desired store location proposals with the following suggested qualifications:
B. Inform TEI of your at least one desired store location where the following qualifications suggest be met
- (i) 1,200 sq.ft. of store space
- (ii) kitchen with a hood and grease trap
(iii) Inform the landlord of the proposed location your intend to open a Tapioca Express franchise store and obtain information about the basic terms of the lease, such as length, rent, and the feasibility of operation the store at the location.
C. TEI will evaluate your proposed store location and inform you of our acceptance or rejection of the location within 5-10 business days. *Note 1
Step 3:
A. Make sure your site has been located
B. Receive Lease agreement or Letter of Intent
C. Establish a corporation or other business entity of your choice *Note 2
Step 4: Congratulations!! To become TEI franchisees.
Schedule with our franchise representative to sign the franchise agreement.
Submitting your $38,888 initial payment to Tapioca Express with the signing of the franchise agreement.

H. Final inspection by TEI

Step 6: Grand Opening!! Congratulations.
Note 1: Our acceptance of the proposed location does not equate the success of the future business. It simply indicates that the location meets our minimum location requirements.
Note 2: You should consult with your attorney or real estate agent in negotiating and finalizing the lease agreement. You should also consult your attorney or financial adviser whether to form a business entity, and the type of business entity, in conducting the franchise business.
